Time went by and I could sense that something still was not right, with my mind and heart in a battle I needed conformation that what I was feeling was right.  So I did what I had to do and went investigating for the truth.  I could not eat, was drinking a lot, and felt depressed for the first time in my life and at this point I realized I cannot go on living this way.  So I let him know I do not love you anymore and we cannot be together.  He is in shock and pleads for another chance, he had a way of saying certain things to me that would make me turn around and do things he wanted me to do, but that no longer works and I stood my ground strong.  This caused him to go into a form a desperation and acted in a way I had never seen, and that was my sign to run for my life, sanity, future. I had made the worst mistake of my life and cheated on him 10 years ago when I was away at college,  and he took me back.  Life was great after that for the past 9 years but the past few months or so I had been feeling like we were just friends and the passion was fading almost gone.  While over a friends house he ran into this girl and they became friends again.  Then today he tells me it turns out that he saved her from drowning when she was a little girl, and he felt like she was falling for him and I immedately felt ill.  I ask him some questions like did he have feelings for her and if they had been hanging out together, which lead to him telling me he thought about being with her, and that wish he could have both of us.  I would be the regular wife she would be the party wife.... It was after this that I confessed to him that I felt like we were growing appart and suggested we try to fix it.   We cry and talk about it for an hour or so, and then he gets a text...she had just lost a cousin in a car accident.  he tells her he will call her later and we carry on talking and tring to figure out how to fix our realationship... so I thought.  In the end I let him know I feel the worst ever for cheating on him and feel like I dont deserve him for what I had done.  I ask him if we are going to be Ok and able to work though this and he tells me he needs me.  But while we are lying on his bed looking into each others eyes as tears fall, he gets another text " I thought you were going to call me :/ " and then she calls.  He immedatley jumps up to answer, as this happens I walk outside.  Sitting out side alone listen to Bjork he comes out and tells me I dont know what to do, she wants me to come get her because she is upset.  I say ok I guess you have to get her... ( i dont why those words came out maybe I was hoping he would say no I am here for you) but before I get to tell him I dont really want to be around her, he tells me to "text him when I get home."  I just look at him confused with tears welling up and he asks me if I will be ok...
