Voyage through a human mind, the no existence of reason, an ode to the absurdity of being, a poem for the ones who left too early, dedicated to my beloved wife and to all those who disagree with me.

Eric G. C. Weets - Insight
I thought the viewer will have a better understanding of Weets’ work in general and the oil painting, “90 days from B to C”, in particular, if I write something about the process, how the idea came about and why Weets’ decided to undertake such a mammoth, challenging task (physically and mentally) and accomplished, in the process, what is most important to him as an artist.
For those who are interested, my blog about this is at : http://community.ovationtv.com/_Eric-G-C-Weets-insight/blog/431672/16878.html
PS. We read all the comments posted on the works and appreciate the time and efforts taken in doing so. Many a times, it’s not possible to revert the gesture, which we genuinely regret, more so because we cannot change the fact, under present circumstances.

Part Three, 'Your 15 Minutes Are Up' covers the climactic events from 1967 to 1968, when Warhol was shot by Valerie Solanas. Andy Warhol's FACTORY PEOPLE is A World Premiere Miniseries, Only on Ovation TV. Andy Warhol's Factory People tells the story of the 60's Silver Factory that Andy founded in 1964 in an abandoned hat factory on East 47th Street in New York City. The Silver Factory lasted until 1968 when Andy gave up the lease and moved to the White Factory on Union Square. Based on fifty hours of new original interviews, Warhol screen tests and films, and thousands of photos and rare film clips that chronicle factory life and Andy filming, this three-part documentary is a revealing and fun take on those around Warhol who garnered their illusive fifteen minutes of fame. Featuring interviews with Billy Name, the Factory gatekeeper; Factory assistant Gerard Malanga; Serendipity founder Steve Bruce; Warhol SuperStars UltraViolet, Taylor Mead, Mary Woronov, Bibbi Hansen, Geraldine Smith, Louis Walden, Allen Midgette and David Croland; Warhol muse Brigid Berlin; and many others.
This beautiful video brings the song "Her Morning Elegance" to life. From Oren Lavie, "The Opposite Side of the Sea".
The video symbolizes unconscious ignorance of the individual in the masses. Willingly or not, being unaware of the happenings around does not mean they are not happening. Ignorance born out of stupidity or ideology makes no difference to the ultimate fact that it will lead to disastrous endings. The unaware, who closes their eyes in the belief, “what is not seen, does not happen”, will stay, even when their feet are on fire, positive. Only when the doors are closing and escape impossible, they will wonder and ask, “why?”
Hope I did this right. My first (and only) "art house" movie. It's sort of long - 8 1/2 minutes so you may want to crack a cold one before you watch.
This video is a segment from my documentary on the DaDa movement titled, “Random Acts of Beauty: The Story of DaDa.” DaDa was born in 1916, but it wasn’t until Tristan Tzara published his Dada Manifesto of 1918 that the world began to take notice. Andre Codresceau reads an excerpt from the Dada Manifesto 1918, followed by the scholars William Camfield and Marc Dachy, who discuss its impact on the Avant Garde. -bc
Hello all!
I created this peice for a variety of reasons. I'm entering this as a submission for the "2nd Art Race" regarding "Rock And Roll" influenced art and music. The music is an original piece I composed entirely in my own studio (thank God for Les Paul and his invention of the multitrack overdub process!!).
"The Cloedecrist Phoenix" is a sculpture I hope to create very soon. As you're probably aware, the legendary Phoenix is a bird which is burnt and rises from the ashes to live a new life again. This is a significant personal statement in my life right now as I've crashed and burned in this freaking economy. At just over the half-century mark... I'm hoping that I'll be able to rise from the ashes of my past, and experience a bright new vibrant life as an artist (in the mean time... anyone know of any jobs out there for a happening marketing expert?!?!?).
The sculpture will stand approximately 4 tall, and will be just over 7' long. It will encorporate wood, paper, glass and metal pieces, as well as a few "found" objects I have laying around in it's construction!
Also, this is my first foray into animation (well, I suppose actually my second since I posted a "test run" the other night!).
I can't wait to get started on the sculpture.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy it!
All the best,
Your faithful cyberbuddy,
Craigo
