Part Two
The first step to become a skillful and clever critic is to develop an attitude which allows the entry of more information and allows stop and think.
These attitudes indicate the following:
The first two characteristics may seem contradictory, but they are not. The critic must want to investigate different viewpoints on its own, but at the same time recognizing when doubt. There should be no dogmatic or orthodox doctrinal or naive or gullible. They are examining the largest number of ideas and different perspectives, giving you the opportunity to be heard to the bottom and then reason what are the good and bad points of each work OK the fact that we can be wrong once the arguments are on the table and keep the ultimate goal of getting the truth or as close to it that the information we have been admitted or submitted to us will enable us to be objective.
Too much skepticism, or pseudoescepticismo also will lead to paranoia and ideas of conspiracy, will lead us to doubt everything and getting nothing in the end, while believing all without a trial or by prejudice or bias of our basic cognitive brain will lead to be a fickle public.
Have intellectual humility means to be able to give an opportunity to opinions and new evidence or argument even if the tests or inquiries lead us to discover flaws in our own beliefs. The critic must be able to be independent and be a free thinker. Ie not to depend not afraid to inquire about something. Social pressures for standardization and conformity may come to make us fall into the convenience or the desire to believe one's own group membership. This can be very difficult or almost impossible for some.
One must wonder if the fear of reprisals simply tell what motivates our own opinions or beliefs and if so have the strength to at least temporarily silenced until they have the freedom to make an objective and thorough evaluation of it. Finally, we must have a natural curiosity and motivation to advance one's knowledge about a subject. The only way to avoid having a basic knowledge about something is to study to reach a sufficient level of understanding needed before any trial.

Then there was what I know to be a partial soaring of thoughts
bringing on a gratifying red luna moon flight of preposterous
translucent Proportions I just ate a roast beef Sandwich
swimming in a pool of squirming human feces and sugar coated
butterfly wings.
HEY!! get the wrench and beat the monkey over the back!!
Bring him down into tartar sauce land the land of dead greeks and mystical freaks
Sordid Mines and empty chimes lie in the locked heart of yours truly
Blind mime girl walked into the flames never coming back from the doorway
The whore is underway
construction is as scheduled the men say she'll be grand
purple heavy laiden under star filled skies
green putred thighs
swallow down the dark elixer
and be resurrected into this trying time of
salted skeletons and exhaulted kings
Bring back the shamans into this lightened era
BRing em back to taste the bloody flesh souls
A chainlink fence is as sharp as a razor's edge
golden, red, green, orange and pink spirals
filled my head
forcing me to see in black hues
anger marks the end of an Epic film
involving peasant children
Hailing from an unknown land
I am that man
designated to kill all designed to thrill
those of us who are weak into submission
Substitute your mind for an empty frame
a state of grace in fields of spontanious copulations
Don't scratch that name into the sand
It'll stand for a moment
only to be washed away under her movements of destitute
illusion
keys and more keys fill our star
full of fattened glee
and peach pie
miss me
you missed me passing you
along the avenue
chaos is what I lick off of your body
chaos is what I bring forth
from the dampened ground
CROWN OUR NEW KING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Long live Desolation and his son
ignorant cave man creature
The King
his name is Advertisimo
ad he'll be here like hell
for the time being
I am fleeing to a locked country
wrapped in golden spiral death hound chains
Reminded by silly gains and measures of space
and time and eternity
all in the width of a dime
I am a mime not that blind
Bulldoze my head
Bulldoze my head
Bulldoze my head
Make me into a clown
belonging to a legion of demonkind
Hekla, Iceland Today we arrived in Iceland and drove 2 hours to a glacier to go hike up to the top. Luckily I slept on the plane. The glacier we saw had shrunk quite a bit since I saw it last a few years ago. The weather has been been nice and it´s been fun to have everyone from work together in Iceland.<our itinerary has been non-stop since we landed at 6:30am and we will all meet up for dinner soon. We are staying out in the country side near Mt. Hekla (the volcano) It´s dark now but I´m sure it will be beautiful in the morning. We have another adventure filled itinerary for tomorrow so I hope we can get some sleep tonight. It was also nice to have my new jacket so far. I´m looking forward to the rest of the trip and sorry Gina could not be here. Love you Gina. In the news today, The jobless rate increased in 29 stateswith 13 states above the national average of 10.2%. Today the New Moon movie came out, my daughter has been waiting to see it for over half the year. Headiing to dinner now and hopefully early to bed. 324 down, 42 to go.
Jeanne-Claude, the wife and collaborator of the artist Christo, passed away at 74. Read the obituary from the Washington Post.
I am looking for the name of a female musician that performed on the "Later with Jools Holland" on 11/03.09. She played a song on a piano along with the harmonica. I missed the end of the show and her name (and song). Did anyone see this episode? Thank you.
it should be this one! Freaking hysterical! This is the art of COMEDY!

....all my friends.. love their works.. and noticed since months..cannot keep up with regular checking..and viewing experience.. Because.. there are so many collections.. and I do want to view..and comment..at least let them know, I was there..and how their works move me.. But.. did not enjoy art works of so many friends ..and miss them..
Think.. Have to start at the beginning on my friends list....
Need to mention..after viewing several art works.. and expressing my 'inner resonance'..joy..admiration.. my brain is not expressing any more..core is..but head does not find the 'true word' of feel ... am so into what I am viewing.. I am spent afterwards..in a good way..but spent..is spent....
Not complaint..just the facts..
What do you do, in regard to all the friends.. To me each work deserves to be experienced.. and do feel regret, that I miss soooo many..
Lost..again...
To Life.. and Miracles are in the Air.. Watch..and See..
As always.. Luise 'Mignon'.
Today was the first day I woke up with heavy frost on the ground and was quite happy to have my new jacket. The funny thing is, by the end of the day it was really quite warm and I ended up carrying the jacket wishing I didn’t have it. I painted this one early in the morning as tonight I am leaving for Iceland. Gina was supposed to come but unfortunately she got really sick last night and is staying home. I was looking forward to spending the weekend with her there.
In the news today, Belgian Prime Minister Herman Van Rompuy has been appointed the first "president of Europe," Catherine Ashton of the United Kingdom is to become the EU's foreign minister. The leaders of the 27 member states of the European Union made the decision behind closed doors in Brussels; members of the House Government Reform and Oversight Committee are taking a hard look at faulty data on the Obama administration's Recovery.gov website including hundreds of millions of stimulus dollars showing being spent in nonexistent congressional districts; and a telecommunications failure triggered scores of flight delays across the U.S, luckily all should be OK now before the flight!
323 down 42 to go.

Things on my desk. This is a good exercise for anyone wanting to do creative writing. If you don't have anything on your desk, or you don't have a desk at all, look out the window and describe everything that you see. That book called "The Artist's Way" by Julia Cameron is a good book to read. I honestly can say that I don't like sitting down and reading for hours at a time, I'd rather be seeing and writing about anything at all, this is always good therapy and a good form of self-expression. I just started kindling an exotic cone incense by Krishna Leela, I'm not a Harry-Krishna person, I'm not a shaved one either, although I think a shaved box is hot and easier to munch. I'm chewing Kodiak wintergreen tobacco, cough, cough, barf is the usual outcome, followed by mouthwash by Listerine in the yellow brownish liquid color. I see a London Calling The Clash compact disc leaning on the stand of my crystal ball on my desk. I also hear the news saying "we are at a low in pumpkins this year." I guess pumpkin pie will be more expensive, so what, I love that stuff, just think now, perhaps on Thanksgiving, a fat slice of pumpkin pie, with tons of Cool Whip, yum, with a tall glass of cold rich milk. I see part of the Rite Aid Central-Vite sticker with lycopene in one of my buy two-for-one-priced multivitamin plastic jars with 100+30 tablets in each container. I see that my rose scented incense cone is running out of fuel, will have to ignite another one of the six assorted incenses in that $1.55 24-pack from The Bodhi Tree spiritual store on Melrose Ave. here in Los Angeles. There is also musk, amber, sandal, patchouli, and jasmine in that Krishna Leela assortment package; the package is one third longer than a deck of playing cards. I don't gamble, only with taking risks with my artworks and making things different.
Now I smell wax burning since I put the burning cone on top of a fat circled candle, now the cone is sinking into the outer edge of the candle, which has candy cane circles inside, I wonder if they are edible. Look at that hot meteorologist on the television, nice outfit, nice tits. "We have a dry frontal boundary passing through Central California." I just solved the burning cone problem that was sinking into the candle, I put a U.S.A. metal quarter underneath this rose scented cone which is billowing into the ceiling, now I see bouquets of red roses everywhere on the ceiling and on the walls. Now I can see Jerry Garcia smiling and toasting a drink towards me, I think he's drinking a tall glass of pale ale, he's at Barney's Beanery restaurant and bar, cheering at me through one of the collages on one of the tables at that bar.
Barf, I just spit out that bunk chewing tobacco and washed my mouth out with that Listerine. I will brush my teeth momentarily. What else is on my desk? I see two small speakers attached to my computer. I also see a one foot and one half foot tall plastic woman on my desk with all those acupuncture dots and numbers all over her face and body. I also see a small bucket full of now overly-used and depleted of ink thick markers and medium thick markers on my Brother printer. That printer is bunk because one time a piece of paper got stuck so, unknowingly, I got some four inch nail and plucked the paper out, thus damaging the clean roller for the printer, thus causing the printed sheets to get several dots on each printed paper. It's not too professional to present a sheet of paper with whatever written on it with liquid paper dots all over it. It's also not professional to forget one's acne medicine on one's face during a job interview.
Other than that, I have some Key West Lime Chap-Ex flavored chapstick on my desk and a lint roller out of its roller with mostly blue lint on it; I need to unroll that to clear the stickiness for when I need it. Well, maybe I'll do that at the moment I do need it, because I don't want Julia Cameron to walk in here and get stuck on it, permanently, for the rest of her life, if she's living. Now I see President Obama on the news, he's in Korea, and now they are talking about Iran, I love Persian women, they are so sexy. Now Obama is saying that his hair is getting grey, the newscaster asked if he dyed it, Obama cussed him out. No, Obama carried himself well as usual and hopefully he'll bind the entire world into something special and provide everyone with what everyone needs. But I'm not that into politics, however I'm into the liberal arts, as well as the pursuit of mathmatical, scientific, and engineering understandings of the world and universe.
Part 39 – That orange juice from room service was really good
It was a Wednesday, a hot humid evening, two days after Arnold’s interrogation by Agent Kirkpatrick with everything about the day confirming and reconfirming the dull middle of the week approach to all detailed efforts in his transport from Panama City, Florida to F.B.I. headquarters in Washington, D.C. The only event that wasn’t usual and not routine was the sudden disappearance and escape of Arnold Westerman. He was ready to exit his hotel room when he asked to use the rest room. He went in and never came out. The break in to the bathroom revealed no Arnold and no means or method of escape. The sad truth is that an undetermined amount of time was lost by several investigators until it was discovered that Arnold had gone around the corner of the hallway, opened and then locked the bathroom door, without ever entering it. He instead slipped into a closet nearby which was back to back with the closet in the room next door. That room was registered to Anna Cushman, a teacher on vacation, from Steubenville, Ohio, she in her fifties. However Ms. Cushman never occupied the room. But an agent for Arnold did. She and her assistants used a silent heat drill to penetrate the closet. Then a phony room service response by one of the assistants in a room service uniform delivering a glass of orange juice with a note under the glass for Arnold laying out the plan.

Velvet dreams.
defying controlling theme
monsters
Velvet dreams,
the key to bringing back
sensless passions to
a mechanically supreme
dissillusioned psyche
mother and father
play at their own
fixed level
accepting every falsehood
as cold hard truth
I'm not for sell
never yours
I'm not for sell
into their wartime debachery
So what the hell did you believe?
Spoken with a heavy lead tongue?
Seeing everything as is
never pissing into the wind
or questioning the mechanics
and the lawyers
and the doctors
Velvet dreams,
eating up fleshy lunches
realizing it is a fluke
to think things are so solid
and defined to an era
of your childhood
all the rapists run free
Velvet dreams,
the dying breed
everything's inauthentic
oversaturated with grime
and guts
all wrapped up in a candy shell
set down low
for you and me
Work was a little more low-key today as most people are out of the office and others are getting ready to leave tomorrow, including me. The whole office is heading to Iceland for a group trip. It should be a lot of fun. A lot of the new people have never been so it is also pretty exciting for everyone as well.I'll have to get up early to paint tomorrow;s painting before I leave for work. I have a lot to do tonight to get ready for the trip including packing, I got a nice new jacket tonight as well that should last me through the winter here in Boston.
In the news today, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid unveiled a health care bill that would expand health insurance coverage to 30 million more Americans at an estimated cost of $849 billion over 10 years; there is a potential new cold virus that is mimicing the H1N1 and hospitalizing children and The German Cabinet has decided to extend the country's mission in Afghanistan but won't approve more troops.
322 down, 43 to go.
Just to let any passersby know that my thumbnails of work etc have disappeared into the ether. I do have lots of work on this site and kickapps (the backroom boys) are puzzling over binary code I write, well I hope so. I have not deleted anything. Hope you are all 'tickety boo'..............
Part One
Critical thinking will analyze or evaluate the structure and consistency of the paintings, sculptures and art in particular opinions or statements that people accept as true in the context of everyday life. Such assessment can be based on observation, experience, in the reasoning or the scientific method. Critical thinking is based on intellectual values that seek to move beyond individual impressions and opinions, so that requires clarity, accuracy, precision, evidence, and equity. Therefore has a further analytical and evaluative aspect. Although the logic used, trying to overcome the formal aspect of this order to understand and evaluate arguments in context and provide the intellectual tools to distinguish the reasonableness of the unreasonable, the true from the false.
Critical thinking is closely linked to the study and detection of fallacies.

Thinking differently is the good of the Human Being
