    While working on a project with Mark Orr, I got the idea of building a functioning sliding window that was a picture frame.  It takes a 10" x 8" photo of anything you might want to see through a window. They are actual glass windows that slide open and closed in the frame.  It can also be stood upright for an 8" x 10" photo. Since Mark Orr partially inspired the design, I thought it was fitting to use one of his photographs to debut the frame.  Currently the entire frame is just held together with a rubberband until I figure out if I want to paint it or not.  No matter how bad you want it, you can't have this one because my wife has already taken it....lol 

    Thanks Mark.... for the inspiration.

    Surrealism, Ely. Its irony is everywhere. If looked at correctly, the whole world is one endless series of juxtaposed imagery. What other art historical term has worked its way into the common vernacular to the extent Surrealism has? How often do we hear something said like, "The results of the stormed seemed surreal"?

    Ya know....I've been saying the same thing:  When Ovation programming started it's downhill slide in the middle of 2010, I kept banging away on the community site that Ovation has a plethora of talent in the community but they just won't use it.  All the really good art and music related shows are gone, in favor of cheap old reruns of commercial television stuff.  Ovation producers and programmers have dropped the ball repeatedly when it comes to the talent that exists in the online commun
