           I am a huge fan of natural landscapes; trees, grasses, the blue sky in just the right combination can absolutely catch my eye.  The Stevens Creek Bike Trail runs right next to my home and I escape to it for the fresh air and birdsong it can provide whenever I grow weary of the urban sprawl I now live within. 

           I think I managed a pretty good photograph with this piece.  Maybe I've cropped the shot a bit too tight to the focal point, but then again, that's what this site is all about for me, an opportunity to try things out visually (I just love it here on Ovation), and when I finally do have this piece printed for a gallery show I'm sure I'll get it just right.

       --------------------------------------------- ...on way back to residence..beautiful sunny and cloudy morning.. and heard this 'Thunder'..so familiar to my ears.. and there they came..... so cool bikes :) and what a great presence... whole Foothill in Fontana...at least where I was, seemed to 'come alive'...took pic..after pic..after pic..lucked out..they had Red light... Fontana Bikers do a lot of fund raising during the year.. but this one..was definitely an outing.. :)..

      I have decided to not waste my time with photography anymore. I try SO DAMN HARD. And am let down SO DAMN MUCH. The beautiful forest fire rolls I took in high school where a girl on a bike rode out of the smoke... Problems with developing...lost everything. Photoshoot yesterday, spent hundreds of dollars, and dozens of hours of careful thought on...under water film camera had ridiculously awful exposure. Lost everything.
