Lisa Berger has been a member of the Voice faculty at George Mason
University since 2003, teaching Class Voice and private music instruction.
She received her Bachelor of Music and her Master of Music degrees from
The Boston Conservatory. She performed in the New England region
with the Boston Summer Opera, Providence Opera Theater, and Stam‐
ford Opera in such roles as Olympia, Lucia, Gilda, and Fiodiligi. She spent
seven years singing at the Opera in Regensburg, Germany, performing
also as a guest artist in Munich, Nuremberg, Bremen, and Pforzheim. Since returning to
the Washington area, she has been a member and soloist with the Washington Bach Con‐
sort, and has been with the Washington National Opera since 1997.
