gearhead, 5 years ago | FlagI live in Catania, Sicily for two years in the 70's. I once drove all the way around Sicily in one day in my Fiat 124 Spyder (still got it)--before expressway s. One night I climbed Mt Etna while it was erupting. From my vantage point I could see two craters spewing lava. -
darkbutterfly, 5 years ago | FlagI lived in Itay from 2005-2006.I was only there a short time, but Florence was da bomb! I lived 45 minutes up the autobahn from Venice. The Alps were right out my window from my apt. Venice was amazing... San Marcos Square, and all the glass! -
artsyfartsy, 5 years ago | Flagi studied in 2005 during the summer and i can not believe how much i miss florence. i lived 1 1/2 blocks from the arno river by the p.v. and it was such a little apt. but it did what i needed and i gotta tell ya, i miss the food, the smells, the life, and mostely the art. i can not wait to go back.. -
