I am a person who just loves to mix up the colors. I like to paint with acrylics on canvas.  Mostly  I paint abstracts although I have painted some portraits and landscapes.  Recently, I have started to enjoy photography.   I love taking photographs  of flowers and sunsets.

My name is Carole.  Misty is my alter ego.  She was born when I first went onto  the internet.

I was born on the Lower East Side of New York City which is now called Alphabet City.    I was born during one of the worse snowstorms of the decade, on December 7th.  I was named after Carole Lombard. 

I believe that art emanates from the heart and lives in the deepest part of the soul.  Every painting is my child that I have given birth to.

Your talent is God's gift to you, what you do with that talent is your gift to God!  I am just the vehicle.  I create, therefore, I am!

I never had any formal training.  I just let the moment take me away.  I hope to continue with more experimentation and different mediums.  I have a passion for the arts-always did, always will.  I pray that I have many more years to enjoy that passion.
