I was born and raised in North Carolina and still live here. My mother was an artist, and taught me to enjoy art. At the age of 19, I left home to pursue a life of adventure. I have always made my living as an artist. I helped design Discovery Place Science Museum, and owned a design firm in Charlotte for 13 years. In 2002, I opened Western North Carolina's first digital art gallery. I teach photography and computer graphics.
