About Me

Thanks for all of the kind words about my work!

A bit about me: Present, Past & Future...

I am mostly a self-taught artist. After abandoning it for the last few years because of my full-time jobs, I am finally getting back into art. I just wrapped up my first semester at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton, Texas. I'm working toward a Bachelor degree with a concentration in Studio Art. Although I sorta feel outta place being in college at the ripe ol' age of 31, I am enjoying it immensely. I've had the opportunity to meet some wonderful people and artists.

Until now, I've done a lot of "traditional" art but I have drifted away from that and begun experimenting with other styles and media. My stronger skills are in portraiture, but I love the lowbrow scene. I am involved in Printmaking right now, and just love it!

I was born & raised in Queens, New York. My family then moved to Lancaster, Pennsylvania, where I lived for about 10 years. I moved to central Texas in 2001, and have been here ever since. I travel back and forth to the East Coast as much as I can, but I prefer to travel to the Texas coast or out west.

I have not yet decided what I wanna do when I grow up... I would like to eventually earn a Master of Fine Arts Degree, but I am not quite sure where that might take me. I have considered  becoming a tattoo artist or a teacher (quite a contrast, I know), but I guess only time will tell!
