Originator of "The Moneta Sound". After looking for a new direction ,dON Clifton relocated in 2007 to Moneta Virginia overlooking Smith Mountain Lake . Composing new songs as "The Sternsmen" , MrSirReal and now Toot Uncommon, dON is recording in the basement studio next to the basement art studio located next to the basement photo restoration office. Musician (mostly sax),composer, sound - lighting guy and photographer from SW Virginia. I currently sell sound systems by day and write ,record and play by night. I am currently working on several projects, "The Sternsmen" a collection of lighter instrumental songs and "Toot Uncommon" my more experimental and hopefully worldly . In the past you many have seen me playing up and down the east coast in bands such as Radar Rose, Science Forgave Us,Sharon Feury and the Vibrators, Little Roger and the Cheap Thrills and a host of others. More rock than jazz I look for the new in music .I also give as much support as I can to my wife and best friend Cheryl in all her artistic endeavors.
