Difficult question indeed.  If you mean in general why I 'create' it's honestly because I don't know how not to.  If you want a more specific answer as to whats inspiring I know that, personally, I find inspiration in other creative things like music, books, video games, and movies and occassionally even other people's art (though I find this is very uncommon for me for some odd reason).  Sometimes I'll see a piece and want to make something because of it, often times completely unrealated to what I just looked at and not even in a similar technique.  I also find nature to be pretty insprirational as well as my closest friends and abstract concepts.

Honestly there is no one thing that inspires me and the things that do change a lot from work to work.
