This  project I had orchestrated with Tee and the UCF's Animation Department to Mentor "Animation/ Film Students", and put them into a "Real Life" Studio project for one of my clients... He served with the Night Stalkers and was killed while serving the Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan on June 28, 2005.     • The Cloedecrist Phoenix

    • Hello all! I created this peice for a variety of reasons. I'm entering this as a submission for the "2nd Art Race" regarding "Rock And Roll" influenced art and music. The music is an original piece I composed entirely in my own studio (thank God for Les Paul and his invention of the multitrack overdub process!!). "The Cloedecrist Phoenix" is a sculpture I hope to create very soon. As you're probably aware, the legendary Phoenix is a bird which is burnt and rises from the ashes to live a new life again. This is a significant personal statement in my life right now as I've crashed and burned in this freaking economy. At just over the half-century mark... I'm hoping that I'll be able to rise from the ashes of my past, and experience a bright new vibrant life as an artist (in the mean time... anyone know of any jobs out there for a happening marketing expert?!?!?). The sculpture will stand approximately 4 tall, and will be just over 7' long. It will encorporate wood, paper, glass and metal pieces, as well as a few "found" objects I have laying around in it's construction! Also, this is my first foray into animation (well, I suppose actually my second since I posted a "test run" the other night!). I can't wait to get started on the sculpture.     • Henna Bangles Start to Finish

    • Henna Paste used on wood for the purposes of producing art is the same as the henna paste used on the skin.  The design is permanent on the wood and can be embellished.  Once the paste is applied there is no margin for error, you cannot recover an area of ill placed paste on wood, the staining begins in an instant but darkens over time.  When the complete design is on the surface of the Bangle/matching wooden gift box....it is left to cure for 7 to 10 days before the paste is removed and the design is left behind.   You will see me applying the henna to a bangle throughout the entire video as different stages of henna bangle art are presented as a henna bangle showcase.   Thanks b.

Euterpe guide my dancing brush as I fumble through painterly haze, negotiating the shapes maze.   I falter and begin again. The muses of Apollo ascend. The omen does in brilliant hue intend my brush begins the dance once again. Play your song fare friend.
