Nothing Remotely Redeemable by Allen Henriquez

Part XXI

We’ve learned over the years that not all criminals operate in groups or gangs, but however most do.  It is easier to overwhelm an opponent if you out number them, easier in theory, but not a guarantee.

Life begins from the darkness into the light.  In this existence no matter how dark, the light will return to expose those acts done in the shadows.

Detectives Haberstem and Carter met up with undercover cop Aaron Reynolds, went over the fine points on the Candy Store Crew, and advised Aaron to make every effort to recover Reed Ober’s gambling debt book.  If Clyde Larkin’s name was in the book for nonpayment on a bet that would work to point the finger of guilt at Reed.  The detectives planned to pick up Kelly Samuels and Reed Ober for questioning but first they wanted to speak to Trudy Larkins.

The detectives were now clear in their thoughts that with what they had so far on Samuels and Ober, regardless of what Trudy said, or their two suspects said, Samuels and Ober would be arrested and charged with everything they could make stick, with hopes to end their sociopathic interaction with humankind.

American society and American culture told the Candy Store Crew that evil was greater than good, that was and is a lie.  And now the check has arrived for them and payment is due.
