els, I find it true for me in that regard as well. I feel part of my artist experience is attempting to become calm enough to connect with the subject and truly hear what it has say; and that doing so is my only hope to really capture teh subject... The ‘connection ’ isn’t always so easy, but when it happens is when I feel I do better work than when the flow isn’t there. Perhaps what I am trying to describe is theta brain wave consciousn ess. ~Liss
