looks genuinely of the period. evn the "1839" at the bottom. it seems that handwritin g style in those days was universal. like everyone had the same textbooks and were given endless handwritin g assignment s. like the little inflection at the top of the 3, is something that ive noticed on period photos i have seen in my familys collection of photos.
