EEK & LEEK:  Oz Wars - Scarecrow's Revenge  pt 4

rated R due to strong language

In this final chapter of Oz Wars the gang finally meets up with Lion. Now they must reinstate Scarecrow as the true King and save the queen, being held captive behind Oz's castle walls. Produced by GRANAMEDIA, www.whatnots.cc

Film footage from the 1914 film, "His Majesty the Scarecrow of Oz", written & produced by L. Frank Baum, creator and author of the Oz books. J. Farrell MacDonald directed the film. Baum's film production company, the Oz Film Manufacturing Company operated from 1914-1915 releasing 5 features and shorts.

This film and the others can be seen in their entirety at the

I've received a few comments from viewers concerning these video mashups. Not that they outright complained, just indicated that they would have preferred to hear the original film soundtrack over my audio additions. So I'm including web addresses in the closing credits, where you can see these films in their entirety.

The slight controversy of video or audio mashups is mostly a matter of taste. There are those who create with these media files, and purists who rather see the film as it was originally released. This led me to write an online article examining both views. Here is the link should you care to read it.

However way you feel. While it may not be the main reason these videos are created, they do help in exposing vintage films to an audience who might not have known of their existence, possibly generating enough interest to seek these films out themselves. Isn't that what we all want?
