Michael Petry known world wide for artistic innovative and provocative approach to art. He discusses his photographic collection currently on view at the Palm Springs Art Museum. Sensual, haunting and far from expected, Mr. Petry’s work continues to push boundaries.
Mike Rebholz currently resides in Madison Wisconsin. His work captures fleeting moments of history from his haunting “American Beauty” which speaks to life in the hard economic times to “10 Weeks”, which captures the 10 week of the fanatical ice fishing season of Wisconsin. Mr. Rebholz powerful photographic images have a story to tell.
Terry Hastings has worked in fashion, music, painting and visual art. His photography collection, “Wind Power” uses the winds of the Palm Springs area to their full potential. His figures and fabric are etched on to metal, creating works that are sensual in color and form.
Colliding Worlds also highlights the work of PICTUREME HAPPY.ORG which aspires to stimulate the healing process and enhance a sense of overall well being by bringing the creative process of a photography based program to chronically and terminally ill children in hospitals throughout Southern California.
