Just a scant few days ago, I was named by the prestigious Chicago Reader newspaper as the Best New Visual Artist in Chicago of 2012! This came as quite the shock to me as I wasn't even aware that I was in the running and would have remained unaware if it hadn't been for a Gallery curator messaging me with a congratulatory note!
It's indeed a high honor to be named as such and I just want to thank everyone who voted by writing me in on the ballot.
